250 Laguna Honda, SAN FRANCISCO

250 Laguna Honda is a new 100% affordable housing community coming to San Francisco’s west side. The development will serve low- and moderate-income households, with all units targeted to families earning less than 80% of the Area Median Income (AMI) for San Francisco.

Additionally, 25% of the units will be reserved for families exiting homelessness, helping to provide long-term stability and support. The eight-story building will offer a mix of one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments, designed to meet the needs of a diverse range of households.

Along Laguna Honda, the building showcases carefully selected materials are strategically placed to break down the building’s scale and tie the floors together visually. The northwestern façade, adjacent to the site’s steep slope, features angled bay windows at living areas to maximize daylight and enhance privacy from nearby homes. At the southwestern corner, the building mass is reduced to allow natural southern sunlight to infiltrate the rear residential courtyard.
