As part of the Rental Assistance Demonstration (RAD), LDP Architecture worked with the San Francisco Housing Authority and Community Housing Partnership (CHP) to renovate the interior and exterior of this 12-story concrete building which houses 97 disabled and senior residences. The project was reviewed and approved by many City agencies including the Mayor’s Office of Housing and Community Development (MOHCD), Mayor’s Office on Disability (MOD), and Building Officials.

Exterior work included new windows, waterproofing the exterior skin, new paint, new entry gates, and landscaping throughout the site. The interior work included an addition for new office spaces, renovation of community and public spaces, mechanical and electrical systems upgrade, as well as new kitchens, bathrooms and interior finishes to all the residential units. The project created 10 mobility units and four communication units. All work was completed while the site remained occupied.
